CREDIBILITY TEST

Is the INTERNET useful for job-searching?

Potentially yes, but statistically the odds are low.
So before using Internet sites for your job-lead searches, or for posting your, resume

it is highly recommended that you use this DIY (do-it-yourself) method to:

— put them through a "Credibility Test"—

BE CAUTIOUS: Do research to determine if an Internet— career— job—employment resume—job-lead—Internet Business-site—is worthy of your time and/or money, including "links" listed on our "Free Stuff" site. How?  Test their credibility.

"TEST" FOR CREDIBILITY: Is the site believable? How can you be sure? What are some clues? Use ResumeWinners.com's TEST (below) to test OUR site. Do you believe what WE say? Do WE seem to provide the kind of help you are looking for?

WE PROUDLY TELL IT ALL, because we have something worthy of telling. Most especially, WE like the idea of being "open" while at the same time being instructive, substantive, yet easy to understand. Because our background is supported by years of proven, hands-on, workshops and one-on-one career-oriented activity, we believe we can rightly brag a bit. So, "test" the credibility for OUR site.

Test ResumeWinners.com Hopefully, you will find our site to be a "benchmark," or "standard" you can use when evaluating other sites. Consider the following:

  1. We have a lengthy "About Us" (click to read) section, with loads of details about our company history, and we explain why this Internet business was established.
    • Do they? Is it convincing?

    • Are they hiding something, or just don’t care about you the customer?

    • Maybe their motive is just revenue, not service and revenue?

  2. We have about a dozen pages of FAQs to give you lots and lots clues as to whether, or not we are really professionals who know about what WE speak of.
    • Do they? Is it informative?

  3. We include information about "Dr. Resume." The Co-founder of American Marketing Associates (AMA), the primary source of the dynamic "You're Hired" Series (click to read.) Do they tell you who developed their business, or who runs their business, or where their expertise comes from?
    • If not why not? Or if they do, are you convinced?

  4. We publish our "Mission Statement" (click to read) clearly telling you of our intent to serve your career needs. Our philosophy is taken from a movie theme, "Build it and they will come." From over two decades of experience, we know this works. We’ve provided quality products and services and our business has grown, regardless of any competitor’s actions.
    • Do they have a Mission Statement?

    • Is it service oriented, customer oriented?

    • If not, why not?

  5. We provide a "Web-site Security Policy" (click to read) clearly stating our concern for your information-privacy. But, beware of sites collecting resumes. Some job-related Internet sites build name and address lists which then, sell your personal information to tele-marketing and promotional businesses, while telling YOU they are a source of help for your job search.
    • You may shout, "Hellllllllp" too.

  6. In Summary: Do they provide reassuring information? Do they give you confidence? Do you believe they know their business? Do you believe they will be reliable? Do you believe you can trust them? Are they credible?

Put them to the test

In fact you can click on "Free Stuff" then Internet Links, where we provide a variety
of web-links for you to read, or download. Getting to each linked-site is free,
but beware: in some cases there may be fees charged, and/or a requirement to
"register" before you can access information. So test their credibility.
